After completing the study process of 1:2000 Detailed Plan by consultant Sasaki, The development in scale of 1:500 is essential for investment and construction process in next stage. The landuse demand is increasing day by day, residential area, commercial and service center. Therefore, resettlement residential project must be studied in this stage, to ensure the living condition for resettled people.  To facilitate managing property for ground clearance to attract investment, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh city has approved the allocation policy for the Thu Thiem ICA to execute the work of clearing and leveling 3 pieces of land clearance; total land acquisition area is 97.7 hectare. |

The Construction Ministry’s Vinaconex Corporation will invest nearly VND1.6 trillion to build a bridge across the Saigon River linking the city’s central area and the Thu Thiem New Urban Area in District 2.
